- Offer Emotional & Companionship Support – Engage in conversations and provide mental and emotional reassurance.
- Follow Personalized Care Plans – Adhere to patient-specific instructions given by doctors or family members.
Don’t
- Don’t Perform Medical Procedures – Attendants are not trained nurses and should not administer injections or medical treatments.
- Don’t Leave Patients Unattended (If They Require Assistance) – Always be available when the patient needs support.
- Don’t Ignore Hygiene Protocols – Ensure proper cleanliness while handling patients, food, and surroundings.
- Don’t Disrespect Patient’s Privacy – Always maintain confidentiality and respect cultural or personal boundaries.
- Don’t Leave Patients Unattended (If They Need Assistance) – Patients requiring constant care should never be left alone.
- Don’t Give Medication Without Approval – Only provide prescribed medicine at the correct time as per instructions.
